Meet Us
Alison
Founder of Growing Little Loves
I have a MA in Art Therapy. I've spent nearly ten years aiding and fostering the art process with toddlers to adults, basically people of all ages! I've been the coordinator of an art program, provided art therapy groups in a women's treatment facility and ran groups in an inpatient setting at a local hospital. Currently I am raising two kiddos (little loves) while sharing the love of all things process art through Growing Little Loves.

I became a stay-at-home-mom in Spring of 2021, about a year into this journey, I began missing the part of me that planned and facilitated art groups with others. I missed helping others on their creative journey and I also missed socializing with adults a bit (who would've thought since I am fairly introverted by nature!). I realized I had the opportunity to provide a unique art experience for kiddos and caregivers while fostering community as well.

Process art and child-led art are at the core of Growing Little Loves. Kiddos are encouraged to explore, wonder and create all while making messes, memories and (hopefully) friendships! The Growing Little Loves community of families has grown into this wonderful. beautiftul thing and I am so happy you are here.
Haakon & Hilde
Original Little Artists at Growing Little Loves
Chances are you recognize Haakon and Hilde from classes, as they often attend with their mama. Haakon and Hilde deserve lots of credit for their parts in GLL-- having to arrive to groups early, engage and then stay after groups while Alison cleans up (they occasionally help with this part). Sometimes you may see them on the playground before or after classes-- perks of the job :)
